Our promise

Your birth information is personal, and we treat it that way. We collect the minimum needed to create your reading, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Birth details — date, and optionally time and place — used only to compute your chart and write your reading.
• Email — so we can deliver the reading you requested and, if you choose, send you the occasional reflection. You can opt out anytime.
• Basic attribution — which link brought you here (UTM tags), to understand what resonates.
• Website analytics — Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to measure visits and steps such as starting a reading or opening checkout. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals. We do not include your birth details, email, reading text, or private report tokens in the events we send.

How we protect it

Sensitive birth details are never placed in plain text in shareable links — your reading lives behind a private, random token. We store the minimum necessary and keep it only as long as needed to deliver and let you re-read your content.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing privacy@readmysky.com. We default to the most private settings.

Third parties

We use Google Analytics to measure website usage, and service providers to send email and host the site. To generate readings, we send your chart summary or selected tarot cards, chosen focus, and optional name through LaoZhang, an AI API provider, to its upstream model services. These requests do not include your email or payment information.

Readings saved on this browser

To let you continue after refreshing or returning from checkout, we store your recent free reading text, birth details or chosen cards, selected topic, and reading step in this browser’s local storage for up to 30 days (up to 20 readings). The My readings page lets you remove these local copies. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to see them.

We also save recent report links on this browser, including pending checkout references, so you can return to purchased reports. Checkout form details may be kept in session storage for the current browser session. Removing a local report link does not delete the underlying order or report. Paid access is confirmed by our server, not by browser storage.
